Diane Kruger and January Jones at 2013 Met Ball: both went for black cocktail dresses and punk beauty touches

January Jones is not known for her forthcoming attitude. She refuses to talk about her personal life, including who fathered her cute son, Xander and has now explained that ‘there are parts of your life — no matter what your job — that should remain private. When my son asks those questions, I want him to hear it from me. I don't want him to be able to Google it.’

Diane Kruger and January Jones

Diane and January both in patterned trousers, black crop tops with identical shoes and even have matching hedges! This is uncanny...

However, there are some things that January was happy to share during her interview with Net-A-Porter's The Edit – her style secrets, for example. Apparently, Miss Jones doesn’t have a stylist (much like Blake Lively) but she does rely on fellow actress Diane Kruger to help her get the best pieces for red carpet appearances.

'Diane always looks fantastic, so I watch what she wears,' January reveals. 'We like to go to shows or look online and then fight each other for the best pieces.’ Nice to know that A-listers can be sharing and caring, not falling out and issuing denials over who got to wear what, when.

Both January and Diane attempt a masculine/feminine mash-up - nicely played ladies.

January’s acting career being so mega these days, with the epic Mad Men as well as her sideline in action movies, not many people know that she actually started out modelling. It wasn’t her dream though, and when she looks back on that time now; ‘the greatest thing I took from it was self-appreciation: I was good at dealing with disappointment. You go on 10 go-sees a day, so when I got to LA and started auditioning, I was used to rejection.’

Every cloud, eh January?
