Nothing quite says welcome to the start of the festive season like the Winter Wonderland launch. Fuelled by mulled wine and German sausages celebrities of all shapes and sizes from a-list to c-list turn out in their hoards to celebrate the being of the winter by throwing themselves feet first down the helter-skelter before indulging in a spot of ice skating.

Just like years before last night’s party in Hyde Park did not disappoint. From Holly Valance to Caroline Flack and Julien MacDonald everyone was there.  A beardy looking James Middleton arrived all trussed up in a wooly scarf and was spotted enjoying drinking a beer out of a plastic cup with a group of friends. Unfortunately he didn’t bring either of his sisters with him…

Uma Thurman (we know, amazing) also made a surprise appearance with her tiny daughter Rosalind Arusha Arkadina Altalune Florence Thurman-Busson (fabulous and ridiculous all at the same time) strapped to her front. She was wrapped up nice and warm in a big scarf, perhaps trying to disguise herself in front of the excited fans.

We spied the X Factor stars including a lovely James Arthur making the most of the free rides. We spoke to James earlier this week about last weekend’s shock X Factor results show and he said despite it having been a stressful week he’s still hopeful for the future, ‘If I could have anything for Christmas it would be a number one, that would be nice,’ he said. We’ll keep everything crossed for you James.
