The 2013 Oscar Awards Are Coming! Here Are The 20 Worst Oscars Dresses Of All Time

GALLERY >> Are These The Worst Oscar Dresses Of All Time?

It's Oscar time! The Academy Awards take place this Sunday night and if there's one thing we can rely on, it's the Oscars throwing up some seriously hideous outfits. So we've seen[a target="_blank" href="/fashion/news/50-best-oscar-dresses-of-all-time"> 50 of the greatest dresses EVER [/a]from the likes of Grace Kelly and Gwyneth Paltrow but now it's time to celebrate those brave actresses, models and singers who used their time on the red carpet to show the world that they think outside the box. Waaay outside...

By Billie-Jade Thomas

Uma Thurman (2004)

This frumpy train-wreck was not one of the usually impeccably dressed Uma’s finer wardrobe choices.

Geena Davis: 1992

Can-can dancer? Or Big Fat Gypsy Wedding?

Cher

When it comes to the worst Oscars dresses of all time Cher is a serial offender- with not one but three hideous outfits to choose from. We’re not sure which is worse, the Las-Vegas showgirl-gone-wrong one or the sheer dress that leaves er, nothing to the imagination.

Cher, again

Aaand Again

Angelina Jolie (2000)

With this bland and boring dress and the whole kissing her brother thing it’s fair to say 2000 was not Ange's greatest year.

Sofia Loren (2009)

Frills and ruffles are the order of the day.

Chloe Sevigny (2001)

Nice to see that even some of our favourite fashionistas can get it wrong from time to time.

Bjork (2001)

The classic. God we love her.

Celine Dion (1999)

It's a tux, worn backwards. 'Nuff said.

Charlize Theron (2004)

Boob roses! Broses? Booses? Definitely not a thing.

Tilda Swinton (2008)

Slipperly looking, shapeless and one-armless. It's a no from us.

Faith Hill (2002)

A calamity in colour: Faith Hill style.

Gwyneth Paltrow (2002)

From the unflattering, boob-baring top to the shapeless bottom, this glum dress is just plain wrong.

Kate Hudson (2001)

As much as we love Kate there is no excuse for this high-necked number. Weird hair too.

Demi Moore (1989)

Looking part-wicked stepmother, part cyclist, Demi Moore’s choice for the 1989 awards was questionable to say the least.

Heather Graham (1999)

Celine was not the only one to hit a bum note with her choice of outfit in 1999. Heather Graham went all Scary Spice in a maxi with this leather number.

Sharon Stone (1995)

Shazza: bringing a whole new meaning to the word meringue.

Pamela Anderson (2001)

There. Are. No. Words.

Tyra Banks (2000)

Looking a bit like something you would pop on the top of a bog-roll holder, this Barbie-princess dress is not one of Tyra’s best looks.

Siddy Bennett (Mon Feb 25 08:14:51 GMT 2013): I think this is awesome! I think everyone's boring now. Cher and Bjork look amazing and fun! BOOO YOUUU what ever happened to Rock N ROll.
