It's always the way: buzz builds around a much-anticipated collection then pictures leak online before it hits store. And so it is that the Interweb has been treated to a sneaky peek at Isabel Marant's collection for H&M. Somehow, a selection of look book images was unleashed online yesterday, sending fashion bunnies (raises hand) into a frenzy.
You'll find the images in the gallery above and they confirm what we'd long expected: the high-street brand's collaboration with the Parisian designer oozes effortless French cool. It promises to mix urban attitude, boho elegance and rock ‘n’ roll spirit in a collection that includes clothing and accessories as well as menswear.
We’ve already wished and hoped for various things to emerge from this collab, from dream campaign stars like Kate Moss to a simple wish for a truckload of must-have skinny jeans, and these images confirm that Lou Doillon is the star of the look book. Result! The French fancy - who is Jane Birkin's daughter, no less - is the perfect lady to showcase Marant's creations, dontcha think? Milla Jovovich has also been signed up to model the wares, and looks suitably dreamy in a printed chiffon frock with ruched sleeves teamed with slouchy black boots. We’ll take both of those please.
The collection lands in around 250 stores worldwide and online on 14th November so start making those wishlists now!
