Nicole Richie, Kate Hudson & Rosie Huntington Whiteley Got Gucci-d At LACMA Gala

Celebrity style this week has been a litte, well, frightening as stars have ditched the concealer and couture for face paint and fake blood. Don't get us wrong we LOVED seeing Alexa as a hamburglar and Miley Cyrus as a purple-haired Lil Kim, but we are rather glad that the never-ending fright-fest that is Halloween is winding down and we have some red carpet glossy style back.

Last night was the LACMA: Art and Film gala honouring Martin Scorcese and David Hockney hosted by Gucci, which saw Nicole Richie, Kate Hudson, Zoe Saldana and more get frocked. What do you wear to a Gucci gala? Gucci, bien sur. Kate Hudson wore a dusty pink gown with a metallic sequin halter top, with cut-outs at the waist to reveal her incredibly toned stomach. She kept the focus on the frock (and that plunging V) as she swept her hair back into an elegant bun and carried no accessories except a simple nude clutch.

Speaking of body-flashing gowns, Nicole Richie showed off a lot of leg in a sheer black gown with heavy embellishment and feathered cuffs, worn over a black bodice. While Zoe Saldana wore a black gown with green metallic inserts, and did a Gwyneth with a mesh slit leading from her ankles all the way up to her armpit.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley wore a black flowing halter gown with a plunging V neck, brightened up with pink sequin embellishment. While pregnant Olivia Wilde attended the event with her fiance Jason Sudeikis in a simple but oh so elegant black gown. We told you Olivia would give good maternity style.

Gucci's Frida Giannini was there to see the gorgeous Gucci line up, wearing a black body-skimming column Gucci gown with a criss-cross patent bodice. Remember the creative director only gave birth to her first child, Greta, back in March.
