24 March 2014 by

Fashion designer names are notoriously tricky to pronounce. We're looking at you Proenza Schouler and Hussein Chalayan. And no one likes looking like the idiot who doesn't know how the 'in' crowd say it, right? But thanks to the clever folk over at i-D magazine, you never need to be that person again.

In this gorgeously glossy two minute video, you can learn your international fashaaaan alphabet darling, all the way from Azzedine Alaïa (Ah-ze-deen-ah-lai-ah FYI) to Zegna (Zen-ya). Watch top international models and up and comers, including Esmerelda Seay-Reynolds from the USA, Grace Bol from Sudan and Xiao Wen Ju from China pronounce their favourite designer's names, in between cameos of the gorgeous Lindsey Wixson's lips and voice.

So what are you waiting for? Click through to i-D to look, listen and learn from this beautiful video directed by Barnaby Roper and styled by Michelle Cameron. If you thought last year's wink video was cool, we reckon this one's even more fash-tastic. All together now: 'san-lo-ron-bi-ed-i-sli-man'. Any ideas?!
