How Do The Stars Change Their Front Row Style For Each Fashion Capital? See Olivia Palermo, Leigh Lezark & More

08 March 2013 by

It’s a well-known thing within in fashion circles that each of the four style capitals own distinctly different looks – both on and off the runway. And many of the fashion show schedule’s veterans abide by them: New York nails the laid-back glossy look with perfect makeup set against sportier shapes, Milan is all about bringing out the designer big guns (this is not a place for the meek of statement-making), London is known for letting loose on eclecticism and Paris, is, well, it’s Paris – the city of chic! As you may have seen from Style Hunter’s street coverage, not everyone has stuck to the age old dress codes of these fair cities (Paris was more wacktacular than we could’ve ever imagined), however, we’ve noticed  that the starry A-list contingent is very faithful to the traditional rules and regs of front row outfit adaptation in each city.

L-R: London, Milan, Paris, New York

Being a front row favourite and now editor of her own site, it's no wonder that Miss P has attended all four of the fashion weeks in London, Milan, Paris and New York. Her formula? Let's look at this left-to-right. First up a printed/furry/monochrome/pastel mash-up can only mean one thing: LONDON, baby! Second is the glamourpuss brocade coat, just right for striking a smart note in Milan. Then flirty and Francaise for a Dior front row en Paris and mannish - but polished - tailoring for New York's snowy streets.

Paris vs. NYC

Jessica Alba's style shifted into two different gears this past fashion month: super-sleek and chic in black tailoring for Paris and a preppy-cool for New York. It's like looking at two different ladies, don't you think?

New York vs. Paris

With her new bleach blonde 'do Leigh Lezark has been experimenting with new looks for her front row wardrobe - but you can see a distinct different between her New York looks (left) and her Paris ensembles (right). Leigh navigated a more urban route for NYC with camo pants, baseball caps and a raunchy array of crop tops. For Pareee she opted for ladylike dress from GIambattista Valli and a modern twin-set from Chanel. Pretty vs. punky... which gets your vote?

New York vs. Paris

It's the first time that actress Jessica Chastain has really hit the fashion schedule hard, with various head-turning appearances over the last week in Paris. On the left you have chic and understated Jessica Chastain at the Calvin Klein show, but on the right we've noticed a sulty, sexy, plunging dress/sassy tuxedo kind of Chastain: just perfect for fitting in amongst Paris' sexiest chicks.
