It’s the A-list wedding we’ve all been excitedly waiting for and, as we report in this week's issue of Grazia, Jennifer Aniston could be just weeks away from walking down the aisle with fiancé Justin Theroux.
So what exactly can we expect from Jennifer’s big day? The actress may have morphed into a leather-clad rock chick since dating Justin, but her love for Valentino has remained in-tact. She turned to the Italian design house for that gorgeously full-skirted Couture gown she wore to the Oscar Awards [above] and it’s not the first time she’s picked Valentino for an all-eyes-on-me occasion.
Last week, close sources told Grazia that the 44-year-old actress chose to wear her beautiful floor-length red gown as a thank you to the designer, who has apparently been working on her wedding dress. ‘Jen and Justin want to make it a really special day and they’re very excited,’ said a source. ‘Apparently, Jennifer has been working with Valentino on a dress and has been heavily involved in the designing process, while Justin intends to wear an Armani tuxedo.’
In timely fashion, Valentino’s Autumn Winter 2013 collection hit the catwalk during Paris Fashion Week on Tuesday. Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli, joint creative directors of the house since its namesake retired in 2008, presented more than a few bride-perfect options so you can hardly blame us for having a certain Mrs-Theroux-to-be in mind when they floated down the runway.
As Grazia's Susannah Frankel said in her report, the collection was all about 'puritanical simplicity' and every woman in the audience could have been forgiven for wanting to walk down the aisle in all one of them.
