Forget the Easter bunny... meet the fashion bunny. You must have noticed that the fash pack is a tad obsessed with the floppy eared Easter mascot. He is best friends with Cara Delevingne, has danced with Kate Moss, has worn Chanel and is name dropped by Victoria Beckham. Take that Easter, the bunny is fashion's mascot now.
Victoria Beckham is the bunny queen, as you might have noticed she uses the word 'fashion bunny' in every other tweet and wears a Katie Hillier bunny rabbit necklace.
Cara Delevingne is also a loyal fan of bunnies, as she hops around in a grey onesie with Thumper ears, did a shoot with Nick Knight holding one of the cutest, tiniest rabbits we've EVER seen and often tweets pictures of her hugging Katie Grand's pet rabbit Clara.
Clara is fashion's most well connected rabbit as she has appeared on Victoria Beckham's Instagram feed and has cuddled up with Doetzen Kroes and Edie Campbell. She's the Choupette of the bunny world. We imagine Clara could even FROW at the likes of Louis Vuitton and Hermes if she fancied it, after all she does frequent Instagram perched on top of Vogue covers and LV bags, while wearing Chanel accessories bien sur.
Kate Moss channels bunny chic for Playboy
Forget foxes or frogs last year, the fash pack were obsessed with rabbits, as Kate Moss, Miley Cyrus and the fashion week regulars were all spotted with bunny ear iPhone cases. One year later, and we still LOVE them.
Plenty of stars have also worn bunny ears on the red carpet (and not as part of a fancy dress costume or for a dare). The Olsens, Lady Gaga and Kristen McMenamy all wore bunny ears as a genuine fashion statement.
Fashion's love of the bunny is nothing new, as models walked down the Louis Vuitton Fall 2009 catwalk in bunny ears and designer Peter Jensen's signature motif is the bunny. Madonna wore the Louis Vuitton ears to the Met Ball in 2009 and who could forget Elle Woods' bunny costume in Legally Blonde.
