Happy 39th Birthday Kate Moss! Celebrate With Her 39 Finest Fashion Moments

16 January 2013 by

Today is Kate Moss' 39th birthday so what better way is there to celebrate than with 39 of her most stylish looks? It's been a good year for our Mossy. This summer, we watched her strut her stuff in the Olympics closing ceremony, she released her very own book and even posed with a naked Rihanna. But her 38th year was just been the icing on a very successful cake.

It's no secret that Kate is the queen of cool. She invented the Glasto look, she made us all buy Hunters and she even manages to make grey a must-have colour. Seriously, that blah non-colour grey is the one we all want to be wearing. The supermodel even managed to make a plain Topshop vest with three little white buttons under £10 oh-so cool thanks to her many collections for the high-street hero. Oh, and did we mention Kate had THE most stylish wedding ever? Sorry Middy, but it was even better than yours.

Still need more proof of the Moss effect? She had a £1.5 million hollow gold statue made of her in 2008, a painting by Lucian Freud of La Moss sold for £3.93 million at auction and she has had more campaigns than we could begin to count. She's stacked up a bunch of 2013 campaigns already, including Givenchy and Versace and news reached us early this year that she'll be appearing in a Britpop episode of the X Factor. Yes! Speaking of cameos, anyone remember when she was in Little Britain? Ha! Who can forget her, err, one line when a tracksuit-clad Kate said she'd exchange sexual favours for a packet of Quavers. She's a right laugh, our Kate.
