H&M may be relative newcomers to Paris Fashion Week, but they sure know how to throw a party. The precedent was set last February when the brand hosted a runway presentation in the beautiful grounds of the Musee Rodin with the likes of Ashley Olsen, Hollywood cuties Chloe Moretz and Emma Roberts as well as fashion pros Daisy Lowe and Pixie Lott lining the FROW. Next came the October launch of a designer collaboration with Isabel Marant where supermodels showcased the collection of printed jeans and Navajo shirts under a glittering disco ball and in front of a glamorous crowd including Audrey Tautou, January Jones, Freida Pinto and Alice Dellal.

But what next for the leaders of the high street pack? Last night H&M Studio (the new name for H&M's seasonal collection) took over the Grand Palais - yes the iconic venue where Karl Lagerfeld puts on his Chanel collections no less - and revealed its Autumn Winter 2014 pieces to 600 guests from models Miranda Kerr and Jourdan Dunn to actress Jessica Alba and singer Solange Knowles. The collection, which was showcased by supermodels including Andreea Diaconu, Joan Smalls, Izabel Goulart and Saskia De Brauw will hit stores on September 4, and contains a mix of soft and sexy sequin and silk pieces with structured blazers, bike and aviator jackets.
Ann-Sofie Johansson, H&M's Head of Design revealed, “I loved the mix of feminine and masculine aesthetics for autumn at H&M Studio. Slip dresses and draped tops are the new essentials, especially when worn with blazers or biker jackets. It’s about taking the Parisian spirit and bringing it to the H&M world."
It was clearly a hit with the Fash Pack as Jessica Alba gushed, “I love H&M - it’s so exciting to be here, so much fun. The way I dress I mix things together, and I love to shop at H&M, I always find something new when I’m there”.
