Gwyneth at book signings in New York and Los Angeles
We didn't think Gwynny's yoga-toned bod could get any better or her blonde locks any glossier, but we were wrong. As the blonde star is looking ah-mazing on her book promo tour for her new cookery book It's All Good: Delicious, Easy Recipes that Will Make You Look Good and Feel Great.
For her book signing in New York Gwyn opted for basic tailoring with all the focus on her Goop-tastic glow, as she wore a Stella McCartney blue shirt and a Band of Outsiders brick bondage skirt. The tight figure hugging pencil skirt was showing off her behind which she has has joked is as good as a 22 year old strippers. She topped off the look with a pair of red Gianvito Rossi heels (if you haven't noticed yet, a colour popping shoe is a GP style signature).
For her book signing in Los Angeles over the weekend the 40 year old (yes, 40) wore a sleek white blazer and a pair of teeny tiny black shorts showing off those enviable (and may we add very tanned) pins. She has also been swinging by the major US talk shows to promote her new book and for Good Morning America she wore a Rag & Bone striped print blazer and matching shorts with a white Theory blouse. Gwyn also wore a Rag & Bone black body hugging dress with illusion nude panelling, which of course had a very short hemline. It's simple, chic and so very leggy.

Her bod is all thanks to Tracy Anderson, who she was referred to a few years ago by ab-tastic super star Madonna. So how did she get quite so toned? Gwynny said at the opening of Tracy's flagship studio the other week that she exercises every single day. 'I said, "You know, this isn't so bad for 40, right?', Gwynny joked on the red carpet, 'And [my friend] goes, "It's not so bad for a 22-year-old stripper!'
Before she went to Tracy Gwynny was the ultimate yoga bunny and understandably she didn't think she could get any fitter. 'Oh, I knew it would never change. I had exercised before I had met her … I had done Ashtanga yoga and pilates and I ran and I thought I was fit, you know...' She said of her Tracy Anderson sculpted bod: 'I just got obsessed. When you see results like that, I started following everything she said and she completely transformed my body and I'm so grateful.'
The lifestyle guru's latest cookery book is described as packed with recipes for 'the foods she eats when she wants to lose weight, look good, and feel more energetic.' In the book Gwyneth describes how she was feeling fatigued and faint last Spring and the doctor told her she was anaemic and vitamin D deficient with high stress levels. Her doctor advised she ban coffee, alcohol, sugar, eggs, wheat, meat and processed food. Gwyn was worried that these strict restrictions would make cooking dull, so she created recipes with food writer Julia Turshen. Judging by Gwyneth's glow the recipes certainly work and she is (as ever) the best advert for her new book. Anyone else tempted to buy a copy?
