1. Big Fashion Issue
I am so very excited about our next BIG FASHION ISSUE! which will be published on 16th September, not least because I got to play with some amazing clothes on the many shoots I've been working on -namely this dreamy Valentino gown. Celebrating the best of new season, we have all the big labels involved including Dior, Louis Vuitton, Alexander McQueen and Givenchy which have been so much fun to style with. I can't wait for you all to see it!
2. Tea Time
I never turn down a tea and cake opportunity, so I gratefully accepted Oasis's invitation to a high tea at Kettners. This wasn't just an excuse to gorge on sponge and macaroons though, as the tea service was created by ceramic designer Peter Ting who is collaborating with the high street label on a new capsule collection. Named 'flutter by Oasis', the sweet bird print is translated onto cool separates and dresses, which makes for extremely pretty viewing.
3. Family Matters
I do love it when advertising campaigns go that little bit further to gain attention. Lanvin's AW14 campaign was released last week and it is just pure genius. Whilst model Edie Campbell has starred in more than a few campaigns in her time (Burberry, Marc Jacobs, Alexander McQueen to name a few…) she has never had to share the lens with her entire family until now! Shot by the legendary Tim Walker these are family portraits with a difference and are the perfect way to celebrate the labels 125 year anniversary. See more of [a target="_blank" href="/fashion/news/autumn-winter-2014-advertising-campaign">the best campaigns here >>[/a]
4. Chocolate Heaven
Belgian 'Haute' chocolatier Maison Pierre Marcolini has chosen Olympia Le Tan for their first fashion collaboration. The chocolate boxes have been designed to look like Le Tan's covetable clutches and are pre-filled or bespoke with macaroons and hand selected chocs. They're available from the 1st September from Selfridges and [a target="_blank" href="http://marcolini.com/">Marcolini.com[/a] until Christmas. I can confirm they taste as delicious as they look!
5. Here Comes The Bridesmaid
After a year in the planning, my sister got married this weekend and I was honored to be her bridesmaid. Myself and the other two bridesmaids were very lucky with our dresses as we all fell in love with the first one we tried on - when does that ever happen?! They were antique pink silk dresses from J Crew and we wore matching Christian Louboutin shoes covered in Swarovski crystals. My mum looked wonderful in her coral Roland Mouret dress and sparkly gold Jimmy Choo shoes and my sister was a simply stunning bride (that's me in the pale pink, far right).
