Nolan Funk Fronts For Versace
Ooh hello! Ladies, meet Nolan Funk, the brilliantly named, Canadian born actor who's just landed a job as the face of Versace’s menswear campaign for Spring Summer 2014. Photographed by Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott, the campaign features Nolan as the embodiment of the Versace Man: provocative, rebellious, sharp and loud. Yes please. The images are mostly black and white because, we're told, it focuses attention on Nolan’s 'athletic movement and energy'. He certainly looks impressive wearing iconic Versace pieces refreshed for the 21st century: the slick tailored suit; the graphic print; the Greek key motif brief; and the rock’n roll leather jacket and pants. 'He brings these iconic Versace pieces to life with his energy and spirit. The campaign is full of the essence of Versace, now and forever,' says Donatella of her new muse.

& Other Stories has been inviting its creative friends to pick their best-loved pieces from the collections and share the process of putting together looks. Today, it's Shala Monroque's turn. Alongside eleven other inspiring creatives including stylists, models, designers, writers and photographers, Shala was given free reign to capture both her selection and inspiration in a story. The international style hero and magazine editor took these polaroids of herself wearing the pieces in the streets of NYC. Cute, no?
