First Look: Garance's illustrated tee for Marc O'Polo (left) and Garance herself (right)
Impossibly chic French blogger and illustrator Garance Dore truly is a master of collaborations. Last year brought a whole host of high-end opportunities for The Sartorialist’s missus to pen some beautiful designs, beginning with her collection for New York based brand Kate Spade. Then we saw the smiling Parisian beauty take her turn in front of the lens wearing Stella McCartney, as she dazzled in Net-a-porter’s A/W 2012 campaign shot by the very brilliant, Patrick Demarchelier.
So we hear you wonder, what’s next for Garance? Well ponder no more as new of her latest collaboration has reached us, and this one is a good’un! Swedish high street label Marc O’Polo has teamed up with the blogger to produce a line of t-shirts and jumpers, printed with the blogger’s very own illustrations and captions. The collection, arriving on marc-o-polo.se in August will feature eight different designs and will come in five colours. We’ve had a preview of one of Dore’s designs for the brand, featuring an uber-cool ‘70s style floppy-hat-wearing lady strolling with a elegant little shoulder bag. Actually now that we really study it, we’d really like that bag, in every colour. Madame Dore could your next collaboration be with a leather accessories label pour favour?
What can we expect for the rest of Garance's Marc O'Polo collection?
