Florence Welch wins big at the 2013 NME Awards

Who have Grazia Daily voted best dressed at the 2013 NME Awards? Florence Welch, of course! The flame-haired songstress scooped the Best Solo Artist award at the shindig in London last night, but was sure to thank her 'Machine' for all their hard work too. Bless. In fact, it was a double whammy for the songstress who also won the Dancefloor Anthem award for her collaboration ‘Sweet Nothings’ with Calvin Harris.

Florence won on the style front too. She looked typically boho-tastic in a velvet shawl maxi dress by Christopher Kane, topped off with a Luna cocktail ring by luxury jewellery design house, Sorellina. Considering the singer has recently made a move into jewellery design, we're all the more enthralled by her vintage-style accessorising.

So who is Florence's new jewellery crush? we hear you ask. Allow us to introduce you to sisters Nicole and Kim Carosella, the founders of Sorellina. They create bold statement pieces that incorporate rare and vintage diamonds and stones perfect for our Flo. What's more, Sorellina is environmentally conscious and focused on sustainability - all of the pieces which include diamonds are either old cut stones that were mined and cut prior to the 1940s or modern, brilliant cuts that are monitored under the Kimberly Process Certification Scheme. Fab, no?

Grazia Daily spoke to the sister design duo today about why Florence is their ideal Sorellina Girl. ‘Her fashion choices are always bold and she exudes confidence’ says Kim, ‘We love a risk taker and someone who has fun with fashion, our vintage-inspired designs with a modern edge compliment Florence’s style perfectly’. Nicole agrees, ‘Florence is an amazing talent, she’s beautiful, confident and always rocks it on the red carpet!’
