Flashback Friday! Jennifer Lawrence And Other Stars' Early Modelling Pictures

26 April 2013 by

Jennifer Lawrence might have bagged a mega campaign with Dior, where she looked flawless in a tuxedo with her pale skin shrouded in a delicate French veil, but this wasn't J-Law's first go at modelling. No no, J Law began her career as a model (or should we say failed model) in baker boy caps and ruffled crop tops.

Last summer J-Law talked to Conan O'Brien and revealed that she started off as an Abercrombie & Fitch model, but the pictures never got released. Jennifer said 'I thought it was unbelievable. Until my agent emailed and said why did you never use them? And instead of answering with any words or explanation, they just sent over the photos.'

'There's this one picture where this girl is just about to catch the football, and I'm behind her, with flared nostrils, red face, my hair's crazy, and I'm like, WRAHHHH!' Jennifer forgot to keep her cool on shoot as she said: 'I thought over night I got really good at football and then I realised that they were model footballing and I was really playing football.' Oh Jennifer, we love you.

Well now E! News have digged out some early modelling pictures of Miss Dior. We have to say she has a look of Ms Britney Spears in her I'm A Slave For You era with the Barbie blonde hair, red bikini and biker boy cap.

The photographer Chris Kaufman who met Jen when she was just 12 years old told E! 'When I first took her picture, I was thinking she moved like Gisele. It was like where did you get this ability? You are looking at someone who is very comfortbale in her own skin. She is absolutely fearless.'

Now what we want to know is where are these Abercrombie shots of Jen playing football? Take a look at Ms Lawrence's modelling debut in the video above and see which other starts started their careers as models in the gallery below.
