Flashback Friday: Remembering The Best Of Anna Dello Russo's Fashion Week Style

20 September 2013 by

Anna Dello Russo is to fashion week as burger is to bun - i.e: one cannot exist without the other, so, in true fashion week spirit, we're having a nostalgic walk down the memory lane that is Anna Dello Russo's wonderful FROW wardrobe. The Editor At Large and creative consultant for Vogue Japan is an ubiquitous FROW presence forever enthralling in her outlandish fashion choices. The style stuntwoman could give Superman some lessons on how to do a quick change! Popping up on front rows everywhere in a variety of outfits, ADR doesn't miss a beat - every look seemingly effortless, pure Anna, bright, crazy and oh so cool, often topped off with wacktacular hats.

Last year we had a peek at what she packs for fashion week when fashion blog The Coveteur shot the travelling Shows-wardrobe of the kooky Editor during NYFW. They reported that her suitcases were "overflowing with fur, fluorescence and glitzy jewels". We’d expect nothing less. We even got to pick ADR's brain at AW13's NYFW, where we asked the style maven for some of her fashion week survival tips. What did she say? “Firstly it is always important to go some sport in the morning to get your energy up. I swim and do yoga every morning – its also a great cure for jet-lag." Among some other gems was "try not too party too much..." Have we beared them in mind yet? Welll... not just yet.
