First Look At Kate Moss As A Playboy Bunny For The 60th Anniversay Issue

[Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott]

In September it was confirmed that Kate Moss will bare all for the 60th anniversary issue of Playboy - which also ties in nicely with Kate's 40th birthday as it hits newstands a month before her big day. We had plenty of questions - how far will she go? Will she dress up as Marilyn? Will she wear the bunny ears? Well this morning Playboy tweeted a first look at Kate's shoot, photographed by the legendary Mert & Marcus, where she sports classic Playboy bunny get up. We're talking velveteen bunny ears and silk stockings.

In the first image Mossy wears a sexy bunny suit, complete with white cuffs and 5 inch stilettos, and poses in a seductive cat pose. She looks pretty phenomenal, so we can't blame her for celebrating the big 4-0 in her birthday suit. We'll have to wait till January/February for the grand unveiling, but the December issue which is out this Friday features a first look at her shoot.

Hugh Hefner said: ‘She’s a worldwide celebrity and iconic and crosses the boundaries from sexual imagery to upscale modelling. It’s a natural for us.’ Well Moss certainly isn't afraid of stripping for the camera. Remember she was topless in those Calvin Klein ads, wore nothing but a deep tan for her St. Tropez Tan campaign and starred in a 50-shades-tastic cover of V Magazine with good girl gone bad Rihanna. In fact we've lost count of the number of nude editorials she's shot over the past 25 years.

Playboy's editorial director Jimmy Jellinek told the Los Angeles Times earlier this year: ‘This is a massive global brand. You need a global icon in order to celebrate that — that was the impetus. You’re talking about the face of Burberry, the biggest supermodel in the world on the cover of Playboy. She’s the perfect partner for us to help launch the next 60 years.’ He added: 'This creates a heat for the brand globally. It started with Marilyn Monroe on the cover of Playboy 60 years ago, an icon for her time. Now we've got Kate Moss!'
