First Look: Meadham Kirchhoff's New Topshop Collaboration

Topshop are killing it this season and 21st November will see the launch of Meadham Kirchhoff's fourth collaboration with the great British store and...drum roll please... its the biggest one yet.

Their capsule collection, 'Cherrys', is based around the style of an imaginary punk outfit and its a bundle of brilliance. The wildly creative desing duo have clearly had loadsa fun with this one - its all stars, pointy shoes and ruby slippers. You're not in Kansas anymore Dorothy.

"This collection for Topshop was inspired by the idea of a band or a gang which we named 'The Cherrys,'" said Edward Meadham and Benjamin Kirchhoff."The overall aesthetic was influenced by Marilyn Manson and the Spooky Kids, Kembra Pfahler and glam rock. It is an enormous and all encompassing collection which will offer a myriad of choice for any customer to adapt or reject as they see fit."

This time round the one-off collection will feature 89 pieces in 4 mini-ranges, each inspired by a different member of the imaginary girl band.

Meadham Kirchhoff have been inspiring us with their sartorial innovation for nearly a decade. Story telling is key and its all about humour, delicacy and romance: goodbye minmalism, hello dressing up box.

The fashion wunderkinds joined forces while studying at Central St Martins and spent the noughties making a name for themselves with their cheeky, tongue in cheek designs and playful aesthetic.

Be warned - these clothes are not for the faint hearted - but if you think you've got what it takes the collection launches in stores internationally on November 21st.
