Sounds the breaking news klaxon! Cara Delevingne has taken to Instagram (where else?) to reveal that she has bagged herself yet another campaign - and this time it's for Mulberry. The model-of-the-moment has been snapped up by the Brit brand to star in the Autumn Winter 2013 ad shot by photographer Tim Walker.
The sneak preview, which Cara has just posted to the photo-sharing site, shows the browed beauty perched in a tree while showcasing Mulberry's classic Alexa bag in a divine emerald shade. She's wrapped up in a black fur-lined coat with super-sexy leather gloves and her blonde locks poker straight. As if that wasn't accessory enough, Cara's surrounded by a host of frothy owls with several resting on her slender limbs.
You'll remember Cara walked for Mulberry for the first time in February during London Fashion Week. She closed the show wearing a similiar black buttoned-up coat and gloves with cropped trousers. Backstage after the show, Grazia Daily spotted Queen Delevingne larking about in a pair of House of Holland jeans and chatting with her Brit pal Alexa Chung, the very same Chung who inspired that iconic satchel.
As we reported last month, Mulberry's creative director Emma Hill is leaving the luxury brand and this campaign coup guarantees she goes out with a bang. Hill was certainly wise to snap up Cara's posing skills while she could - this is the hottest Brit on the catwalking block, after all. This year alone, we've seen her posing for designer heavyweights including YSL beauty, DKNY, Pepe Jeans and Burberry so her CV is shaping up rather nicely.
UPDATE: @Mulberry_Editor was the first to release the campaign image this morning, which was then Instagrammed by Cara. They've also treated us to a behind-the-scenes snaps - how tantalising! For more Mulberry delights, click here!
