Just Cavalli have staged a fashion revolution for their latest campaign, as these models don't walk the catwalk but march chanting, waving banners and wrestling policemen. It's the perfect concept for the young, rebellious label.
The models Dominik Bauer, Rodolfo Zanforlini, Ben Hunter, Karlina Caune, Julia Frauche and Manon Leloup are all staging a 'Love Revolution.' Cavalli explain that the Autumn/ Winter 2013- 2014 campaign is 'a peaceful protest praising love is the guiding force which gives freedom.' Of course it's also a rebellion against snooze-worthy fashion with colourful prints, patterned scarves and a splash of leopard print
The campaign was shot in Barcelona by fashion photog Giampaolo Sgura and is an explosion of print and colour, with red animal print banners and multi-coloured print trousers. It puts one finger up to bland colour palettes. It's classic Cavalli with three watches worn on one wrist and statement glasses - even the mega phones are given the Cavalli touch with red and yellow flame motifs. Oh and look out girls, one model protester wears nothing but his black pants and a red animal print scarf looped around his neck.
In the campaign video a model says 'we discovered that we are all different... we will not honour your colours, we will not repeat the stories that you have told, we just love.' Join in the rebellion by watching the campaign video below...
