David Beckham 'Planning Sports Line!' What We Can Expect From A DB Kit

07 April 2014 by

David Beckham has already dabbled in design and knows how to shift stock thanks to his hugely successful work for H&M bodywear. But by the looks of things David might be doing a Victoria and launching his very own clothing line. Before you get ahead of yourself imagining DB presenting his latest wears to Anna Wintour and the fash pack, this is to be a line of casual sportswear. Makes sense, he has spent most of his life in a sweaty gym kit.

No deal has been made, although WWD report that David has met with Hong Kong-based consumer goods distribution firm Li & Fung several times, although no deal is said to be imminent. David has certainly been building up his fashion portfolio, as he has a fragrance, his line with H&M and is the face of Belstaff. Of course his wife has a hugely successful label, but back in September David kept quiet when we asked if he plans on designing his own line. He said 'I'm very busy with the Bodywear line [for H&M] and with a new collection coming out soon,' when we asked if he planned on putting his designer cap on.

With all this talk of a David Beckham sportswear line, we couldn't help but wonder what it would look like. Here's what we imagine would be in a DB kit...

1. Baseball caps that all of the girls will want to steal...

2. Slogan tees. There's got to be a Golden Balls shirt...

3. Forget high tops, there'll be things for the golf course too...

4. All pray for a black tee which can make everyone look this good...

5. An assortment of hats from beanies to headbands...

6. Last but not least a great pair of pants...
