It was reported that Cressida Bonas turned down her role as a real-life princess to focus on her acting career. It's only been a month since her split from Prince Harry and she's already giving her IMBD page a makeover. Word on the web is that Cress has been cast in the Harvey Weinstein film, Tulip Fever.
According to the Londoner's Diary the 25-year-old dancer will star in the film alongside it Brits Cara Delevingne and Daisy Lowe. So which part will the scrunchie-wearing almost-was-a-princess play? A fancy society girl, obvs.
An insider told the Evening Standard: “It’s so clever. They’ve cast actual models like Cara and Daisy [Lowe] to play the artists’ models and for the part of the society lady they’ve cast Prince Harry’s ex.” We see what you've done there.

The film is based on Deborah Moggach's bestseller and is directed by The Other Boleyn Girl director Justin Chadwick. The IMBD page describes it as: 'a 17th century romance in which an artist falls for a married young woman while he's commissioned to paint her portrait. The two invest in the risky tulip market in hopes to build a future together.' Zach Galifianakis aka Alan from The Hangover is also in the film, as is Holliday Grainger and Academy Award-winner Christoph Waltz.
This isn't Cressida's first time acting. Last weekend Prince Harry's former girlfriend performed at the Hay Literary Festival in front of a small crowd of 50 people. Cressida played a singing Big Bad Wolf in the play, putting on a thick Essex accent.
But the real question is this: Is it too early to get excited about a possible Cara x Cressida red carpet appearance?
