Comic Con: America's biggest pop culture expo where freaks and geeks come together to celebrate the all things sci-fi and fantasy. The event is taking place this weekend with stars from the big and small screen descending on San Diego alongside thousands of eager fans. As well as the marvellous costumes on display (hello sexy nerds), there's plenty of frock-watching to be done and considering the stars are away from the pressures of a conventional red carpet, there really is no holding back.

Just look at Maisie Williams of Game of Thrones who went all-out with the Comic Con dress code in a dress that appears to be made entirely of comic books. Or Elle Fanning who dared to wear yellow - yes, yellow - eyeshadow and matching nails, teamed with a colour-popping Christopher Kane dress. Marvellous, ladies!
But we're particuarly enamoured with Jessica Alba who arrived for the Sin City panel in a minxy black crop top by Tanya Taylor and high-waisted Zimmerman skirt covered in a snazzy print and featuring mesh paneling. And is that an undercut we see? Nope, Jessica's added some edge with the faux undercut created by twisting one side of her hair back and adding an array of spikey earrings. It's a gorgeously refreshing look and makes for a matchy-matchy moment with co-star Rosario Dawson who really does have the real shaved deal.

Megan Fox also made a return to her best-dressing ways. The actress is at Comic Con for her role as April O'Neil in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and looked as fierce as ever in a leather woven top and mini skirt from our very own David Koma, topped off with strappy Jimmy Choo sandals. Elsewhere, Salma Hayek wore a black zipper dress by Alexander McQueen for the ‘Everly’ presentation while Emma Roberts and Jada Pinkett Smith flashed the flesh in crop tops.
