Here at Grazia HQ, we can't get enough of looking at Harper Beckham photos. Whether she's tottering on her mum's catwalk or encased in her dad's arms, Harper really is the cutest thing we ever have seen. Aside from her adorable pout and tied-in-a-bow hair, her winsome wardrobe ensures that this little tot is always well turned out. That may have something to do with mummy Victoria being an world-acclaimed fashion designer or the fact daddy David is raking in a gazillion pounds as a football superstar, but her outfits have us convinced that this is a style icon in the making. Err, Suri who?
HSB (that's Harper Seven Beckham - keep up!) has turned us green with envy at the sight of her Marc Jacobs wellies, adorable Caramel dresses and has endless Bonpoint goodies landing on her doorstep. In fact, she may only be 19-months-old, but VB's mini-me has already racked up a shoe collection worth a stonking £1,500 that includes lambskin Hermes shoes, custom-made Nike trainers and bow-detailed Burberry beauties. But there's one thing we've noticed about Harper's ensembles that could get her signature style all in a kerfuffle.
Spotted out and about in London with David today, the little cutie was wrapped up warm in blue leggings, a quilted red hooded jacket and matching velcro trainers. She was perfectly co-ordinated with Daddy Becks who was dressed down in jeans, trainers and a grey beanie teamed with a rather fetching gilet.
It's quite the contrast to Harper's outing yesterday when she took a trip with her mum to Notting Hill. This time, Harper sported a tres chic cream coat with top-notch designer tights and a pair of strappy pumps with her hair pulled back into an adorable ballet bun. Her girlie look was the perfect compliment to Victoria's perfectly polished outfit consisting of a must-have Carven jumper, sharp collared shirt, flared jeans and glossy blow-dry.
Yes, it seems that little Harper has a different style for each parent. When she's with mum, it's all about the frilly dresses, hair bows and dainty sandals perfect for being paraded around the town but when it's Dad Day, it's sporty gear all the way with puffa jackets, ripped jeans and diddy Converse so she can get scruffed up in the park. Cute! The question is: when HSB is old enough to dress herself, which side will she steer towards? Mummy Chic or Daddy Sporty?
Luckily VB is happy if she grows into a Sporty Spice. 'If she turns out to be a tomboy - with three brothers, it can happen - I'll be okay with that,' she said last year. Meanwhile, David said she's a mixture of both her stylish parents, 'She is kicking the ball around while she is carrying handbags.' Yup, this is one little lady who'll keep us on our toes.
