Check Mate! The Stars Are STILL Going Crazy For Louis Vuitton's Spring Summer 2013 Check

06 June 2013 by

Louis Vuitton's Spring Summer 2013 check is contagious, as ever since the collection debuted during Paris Fashion Week way back in October, a whole gaggle of stars have been spotted in the very same checkerboard print. Now that the Louis Vuitton check is available to buy in store and the high street is flooded with lime and yellow checkerboard, we'd have expected celebville to have moved onto next season's it prints.

But the pointed courts, bow bands and checks are STILL taking over the red carpet, as last night Bip Ling wore a full LV look in a lime green checked mini with a matching tote and bow courts. Kate Upton also recently rocked a Vuitton lemon check cropped jacket.

It's hardly a surprise that at Louis Vuitton's Autumn 2013 show the FROW went checkerboard crazy, as Elena Perminova, Fan Bingbing and more wore the S/S 13 LV check print to watch the latest offering from Marc Jacobs for Vuitton. It was the print at fashion month, as Anna Dello Russo wore a lime check shift with a white bow and white gloves in New York, while Leigh Lezark went Spring 2013 crazy in NY in a monochrome LV check top paired with that Chanel hoola hoop bag.

Kirsten Dunst and Jessica Alba both wore check print dresses to Golden Globes events, as Jessica went for a monochrome midi while Kristen went for the brown and white maxi with long sleeves. Nice work, ladies!

As for Kerry Washington, she wore hers with the white LV bow in her hair and you may remember Kristen Stewart wore a monochrome playsuit when the Breaking Dawn - Part 2 promo rounds began this summer. Anyone who tries this look also has to wear identical shoes, as each celeb has been spotted with a pointy court shoe. Hardly suprising, as it's not as if a flatform would look chic with this look.

So what do you think of the check craze? Would you go head to toe checkerboard?
