We've seen Cara Delevingne in almost every major show this London Fashion Week, walking in shows from Topshop Unique to Burberry to Peter Pilotto, but she's firming another skill on her CV: singing. To celebrate LOVE Magazine's editor-in-chief Katie Grand collaborating with Hogan again, the model has recorded a rendition of '80s hit 'I Want Candy.' How amazing? it also clarifies that this girl can really sing.
Once again, Ms Grand has rounded up her model friends to star in a video, this time to dance along to Cara D's soundtrack for the Autumn Winter 2013 collection. It's an impressive star line up that includes Edie Campbell, Abbey Clancy, Eliza Cummings, Tallulah Harlech, Doutzen Kroes, Liberty Ross, Stephanie Seymour as well as Cara's big sister Poppy. The gorgeous troop also star in the accompanying shoot shot by photographer Daniel Jackson and styled by Katie in the second issue of GANG, the magazine which celebrates the collaboration.
So what of the collection? Well, the Autumn 2013 capsule collection is bigger than ever, with two styles of sneakers, a ballerina shoe, leather handbags, sunglasses, iPad and iPhone cases, a tap shoe, a skate shoe and a wheely travel bag. The good news is the signature heart motif, which links to LOVE Magazine, is still there.
But for this season, the collection is all about zebra stripe which is on clutches, trainers and loafers, as modelled by Cara in the campaign shots (see the gallery above). ‘This time around we’ve gone big on zebra stripe,’ said Katie of the collection, ‘for no other reason than it felt like it felt right and looked great splashed across the products.'
