Say Hello To Cara Delevingne's New Model Mate: Sam Rollinson

In this week's issue, we speak exclusively to Cara Delevingne about coping with fashion week stress. As well as playing the drums and mediating, she reveals it's her fellow modelling chums who help with the catwalk craziness. Indeed, we've seen the mega model indulging in some retail therapy with Georgia May Jagger and larking about with Jourdan Dunn, but there's a new girl in Cara's Crew: Sam Rollinson.

This season, we've spotted the pair together on more than one occasion. It started during the New York shows when Cara and Sam hit the Marc Jacobs catwalk. Fast forward to London Fashion Week and the model twosome both worked the Burberry, Giles, Topshop AND Mulberry shows where Cara and Sam were stuck to each other like glue. So who is this new BFF?

For the uninitated amongst you, Sam is the latest Brit beauty to storm the shows. This season, she's been stomping catwalks non-stop from Alexander Wang to Jason Wu so it's no surprise Models.com have ranked her as number 17 in their list of Top 50 Models. With her bowl-cut bob and chiseled cheekbones, Sam, who is represented by Select Model Management, has a strikingly edgy look balanced with a girl-next-door ease.

Indeed, she's a Doncaster girl whose Instagram profile introduces her as ‘Hi, I'm a model. I thoroughly enjoy having a good old laugh and a cup of tea.’ Sounds like a girl after our own hearts, eh? What's more, she told us that the best thing about fashion week is 'making loads of new friends'. Including Cara Delevingne, it seems.

'She is doing loads of shows,' Katie Grand affirmed when we spoke to the super stylist and editor in chief of LOVE backstage at the Giles show last week. 'On average, she has 3-4 hours sleep a night, but she just takes it in her stride. It's a period of very intense work, but she keeps her head down and knows she can relax at the end of it.'

It was this summer that Grazia Daily first started trilling about the catwalker when Sam bagged the J Brand followed by Kurt Geiger campaigns. So what else do you need to know about this supermodel-in-the-making? Well, her secret hobby is baking and if she wasn't modelling, she'd be at university studying politics or philosophy.

Clever, gorgeously cheekboney and mates with Cara? We're sold.
