She has yet to make an appearance at New York Fashion Week despite ruling the runway for the past couple of seasons, but she wouldn't have missed the chance to party with Rihanna at the launch of the singer's latest River Island collection last night. In an interview featured in the latest issue of Industrie magazine, supermodel Cara Delevingne revealed how she first introduced herself to RiRi at Victoria's Secret's annual catwalk show last November.

Cara, who doesn't strike us as the shy type, explained: 'I went up to her and was like, 'Maaam, you are so amazing, I love you, you look so hot out there performing. You put us all to shame'…Then I slapped her on the bum.'
Since then the pair have been regular companions with Cara accompanying Rihanna on part of the European leg of her Diamonds World Tour, as well as on holiday in Monaco in July.
We wonder if Cara's absence from New York's fashion scene could have anything to do with the other comments she made to Industrie magazine about Fashion Week. She revealed, 'I mean it isn't horrible really, it's amazing. But having to work that much every day is. What I find hard is having to deal with all the people and all the c**p...It is when the press and fans are following me most and it's when I work the hardest, so it's kind of like, f***.'
The model also spoke about how she's receiving therapy and revealed that she shows support to her followers who are going through difficult times too: 'I try as much as I can to help by saying one little thing like 'hello'.'
She implied that her romantic relationships haven't always been easy by confessing, 'I'm done with boys, they're so annoying. All they care about is their willies. I want to behave more like a boy. I want to be the strong one.'
