Cara Delevingne has added another movie to her IMBD page, as she is starring in the film adaptation of London Fields by Martin Amis. Cara is taking her acting career up a notch, as she is starring alongside Amber Heard, Jim Sturgess and Billy Bob Thornton in this murder mystery. Although we don't know important details like the release date or how big Cara D's part is, we do know that she is working dreadlocks.
The make-up artist Sian Edwards tweeted a picture of Cara with a dark dreadlock wig - how very Bob Marley. We can barely recognise our girl Cara, but on the plus side the 'do brings out her brows. We chatted to Cara about her move into movies at London Fashion Week who said that: ‘It wasn’t a conscious thing. I just suddenly got one movie and then another one and then another one.’
This is the third film on Cara's CV, as she has appeared in Anna Karenina and is currently working on British flick Kids in Love. Hopefully Cara will go on an Instagram frenzy soon - remember she tweeted lots of pictures of her in a floral garland hanging out with the other kids. It's not surprising Cara has bagged another career as she said to Grazia Daily last year: 'Acting has always been my dream, even more than modelling.'
Cara Delevingne: 'How am I meant to sleep!!! #RIO #Brazil' [Instagram]
Speaking of Miss Cara D, she was spotted landing in Rio de Janeiro this morning where she happily posed for selfies with Delevingners despite having spent the night flying over the Atlantic. The model then posted a foot selfie - a footsie if you will - on Instagram (natch) from her hotel room. Check out that view, no wonder the catwalk star says she can't sleep in the carnival capital. Although we don't think she's shooting the film over in Brazil, as it is based in East london. Perhaps she has taken on ANOTHER project? Or could she (shock horror) be taking a holiday?
Before she jetted off to Rio we grabbed a few words with the model backstage at Chanel, who chatted to us about her singing career, being a secret busker and why Karl Lagerfeld is her 'fashion dad.'
