Cara Delevingne Does Lumberjack Chic For i-D Magazine: Is It Her Best Fancy Dress Look Yet?

In the unlikely event that the modelling offers dry up, perhaps Cara Delevingne should consider a career in forestry. While we’d usually associate the word 'trunks' with the model of the moment's insanely long legs, in the case of her latest editorial shoot for i-D Magazine we're strictly referring to trees. Dressed in a pair of high waist jeans, ankle boots and a little red Bucci vest, Cara is seen standing with one foot raised on the base of a tree and her arm casually resting on the head of an axe.

Despite the rural backdrop painted on a screen behind her and the pine tree props, the face of DKNY and Chanel brings style to the setting with a glossy blow dry, jewellery and makeup. We doubt your average plaid-wearing lumberjack would be fooled into thinking that the 20-year-old model was part of the union, but they'd probably be pretty happy if she leant a hand - particularly as she has so much side boob action going on in that top!

This isn't the raciest Cara moment in the magazine's latest issue however, as we revealed earlier this week how the model has performed a sexy striptease by zipping off her Burberry trench section by section until she reaches her blue underwear, which she then whips off. We’re pretty impressed that she can make everything from a taking off a trench coat to chopping down timber a provocative action.

Of course, this isn't the first time that Cara's had some fun with role-play. The catwalk star has previously dressed up as a hot dog, a pirate and a mermaid (to name a few).
