Cara Delevingne is building up an impressive collection of Karls - she posed with a Karl Lagerfeld doll for Plastic Magazine and instagrammed pictures of her clutching a mini Karl. Now she's cuddling a Lagerfeld doll again, this time for Chanel. Could she be his number one fan?
The Fall 2013 Chanel film 'Women only' features models such as Cara Delevingne, Edie Campbell and Lindsey Wixson, watching a Karl production in a cinema, dressed head to toe in Chanel (natch).
It may sound normal, but this is one surreal piece of cinema with Karl Lagerfeld starring as a bodyguard, creepy matrons patrolling the 'girls only cinema,' girls whispering, topped off with a haunting soundtrack. Cara clutches a Karl Lagerfeld doll in her lap and tells us 'you have to be in control.' But don't worry it doesn't turn into a model slasher like you might expect, it ends with the mysterious Karl production projected onto the screen.
Cara Delevingne and her kollection of Karls
It's all a tad bizarre, but one thing we do know is that the clothes look mighty good. The quilting, the mini bags, the pearls... you don't get outfits like that at our local Odeon. By the end we'd created an imaginary Chanel wishlist - Cara's silver stacked bangles, the jacket with matching knit beanie, the white sleeved knit with mini bow at the neck... we could go on. We've said it before and we'll say it again, oh to be one of Karl's girls.
