The Cannes Film Festival wouldn't be the Cannes Film Festival without a yacht party (or ten). Last night was one of the most starry soirées of the festival, as Lupita Nyong'o, Julianne Moore, Rooney Mara and Naomi Watts attended the Calvin Klein Collection party celebrating Women in Film. As expected, the guests were wearing all Calvin Klein everything.
Lupita Nyong'o made her Cannes debut in a metallic blue Calvin Klein Collection strapless dress, with a slashed cut-out under the chest, which she paired with strappy silver heels. The last time we saw Lupita on the red carpet was at the Met Ball when she wore this year's Marmite dress - a green feathered flapper Prada dress. Lupita is back to her impeccable can't-help-but-love-it red carpet style.

Julianne Moore attended the Mr Turner premiere earlier in the evening in a red leather Louis Vuitton gown, then made a quick change into an ankle-grazing grey and heather fitted Calvin Klein Collection dress, with a fold-over strapless neckline and a flared hemline. Naomi Watts wore a custom pale pink Calvin Klein Collection strapless midi, with a Bulgari string necklace and her hair in a breezy side pony.
The queen of the cut-outs (and face of Calvin Klein Downtown fragrance) Rooney Mara was at the event in a white bandeau bodice and white pencil skirt with fringing at the waist. Rooney's look is always about structure and silhouette, oh and a good dark lipstick. She paired it with a deep red lip and white strappy Calvin heels. Rooney is allergic to embellishment, so she kept it minimal with little jewellery and makeup.

So who else has been on the red carpet so far in Cannes? So far the red carpet at Cannes is all about one lady: Blake Lively. Last night the actress attended the Mr Turner premiere in the Chanel Couture dress of our dreams. She wore a heavily embellished seafoam ankle-length gown with a cinched in waist, with chiffon draped over her arms and cute embellished pockets.
Nicole Kidman has been promoting her film Grace of Monaco, in a gloriously embellished blue Armani Prive gown and a white Altuzarra gown to the photocall. Meanwhile, at the Grace of Monaco premiere Zoe Saldana debuted a white Victoria Beckham number with a bow detail at the bodice.
