Swarovski have pulled out all the stops for their Spring Summer 2013 campaign. The brand recruited two of the fashion world's biggest names - supermodel Candice Swanepoel and photographer Nick Knight - to highlight the use of Swarovski crystals throughout the creative industries.
Swanepoel is flawless as she poses poised with a selection of dazzling crystallised sporting gear including a motor cycle helmet, dumb bells and skiing goggles. The shots of the Victoria's Secret Angel, which don't showcase any particular product are juxtaposed with Knight's stunning still lifes of freshly cut garden roses and crystal stone dewdrops.
Nadja Swarovski revealed, “We wanted the campaign to capture the essence of the cool contemporary woman. Beautiful, healthy and strong, she is in charge, and can compete in any way. She is also fun and kind of humorous. Nick catches her spirit perfectly. But more importantly, this is an overarching corporate campaign celebrating the modern woman and Swarovski crystal as a design ingredient supporting creative expression.”
