Cara Delevingne and Suki Waterhouse are forever entertaining us with snaps of their larks on Instagram - the hilarious poses! the matching mega brows! the backstage antics! - and now they've taken their friendship from real life to their first joint campaign.
Burberry has just released its Autumn Winter 2014 campaign and rather than Cara draping herself over Eddie Redmayne or Jamie Campbell Bower as we've seen in seasons gone by, she's striking a pose alongside her bestie. The fellow catwalkers showcase glorious hand-painted sheepskin coats while giggling up a storm in true BFF style. But it's the adorable backstage shots which really showcase their fun-filled friendship.
Behind-The-Scenes With Cara And Suki [Burberry]
We've got a sneak peek at what happened during the shooting of the campaign, from Cara and Suki sharing a joke in their Burberry garb to hanging out with Malaika Firth. True to form, the campaign was shot by Mario Testino and one behind-the-scenes snap shows La Delevingne resting her chin on the legendary photographer's shoulder while Christopher Bailey, Chief Creative and Chief Executive Officer, looks on. 'A dynamic British cast brings the artistic spirit of the campaign to life with the iconic Burberry trench coat at its heart,' says Mr Bailey of the results.

But what of the clothes? You may remember those monogrammed blanket ponchos marked with CD and SW that we saw on Burberry's catwalk in February. Well, they make a star appearance in the shots too, accessorised with the Bloomsbury bag that's just gone to the top of our wishlist. Of course, it wouldn't be a Burberry campaign without a trench coat, but it's been given a twist thanks to super-feminine painted silk.
By now, Cara is a firm member of the Burberry family, having made her runway debut for the brand back in 2011. She's since featured in many a Burberry campaign, working her killer looks for both ready-to-wear and beauty lines.
Meanwhile, it was only in February that Suki went from Burberry FROWer to catwalk star, stomping behind Cara while her A-list man, Bradley Cooper, watched on. She was cast as the face of the Burberry Brit Rhythm fragrance last year and has fitted in perfectly thanks to that Brit cool vibe. But it's her friendship with Cara that's really enthralled the fashwan folk so hats off to Christopher Bailey for tapping into their playfulness for the latest campaign. Lord knows we want to be part of their girl gang...
