It's all go at Burberry HQ this week. After the announcement that Christopher Bailey has nabbed the job of CEO, the Brit luxury brand hosted a top-secret shindig to reveal some exciting news about a new launch set to arrive in January 2014. For now we're sworn to absolute secrecy except to say it's going to be MEG-AH. We know, what teases!
To celebrate the latest developments, including the launch of new men’s fragrance Brit Rhythm, Grazia Daily supped cocktails at Burberry's Regent Street store last night before heading to Shoreditch (where else?) for a super-cool live gig. We mingled with the likes of Sam Rollinson and Pixie Geldof as well as George Barnett - Pixie's boyfriend, British musician and face of Brit Rhythm - while being entertained by a storming performance from White Lies.

Suki Waterhouse was also in the house looking rocker-perfect in a black leather jacket from Burberry Brit. Of course, Suki is George's fellow campaign star for the Brit Rhythm fragrance, which is inspired by music and the electric energy of crowds. How does it feel to be part of the Burberry family along with Edie Campbell and Cara Delevingne (who happens to be her bessie)?
'It's a privilege to be a part of such a close, creative group of people. They're a lovely bunch who really know how to have fun!' Suki told us. And she admits her standout memory from the shoot was rather unexpected. 'We were singing karaoke whilst in hair and make-up for the shoot and also walking down the set's runway, through the Rhythm bottle shaped cut-out.'
As you may have heard, the blonde model-slash-actress has one of the world’s most eligible bachelors on her arm - hello Bradley Cooper! - and has a stellar wardrobe to boot. She's famous for her signature '60s style that includes everything from retro coats and floppy hats to printed trouser suits. 'I love playing with contrasts – mixing a feminine look with a more biker and tomboy attitude, which comes across in my look in the Brit Rhythm campaign,' says Suki of her look.

The 21-year-old also has a willingness to try something different. 'I recently tinted my eyebrows for a week, just for a change and would love to get a bob at some point,' she reveals. As for her style inspirations, Suki names Pattie Boyd, Lou Doillon and Stevie Nicks while her music tastes include The Stone Roses and Iggy Pop. In fact, she loves 'dressing up in outrageous outfits (that I'd never go out in) and dancing around in my room!'.
With that Mod beauty look, not to mention a history of dating rockers (pre-Bradley, she was linked to Miles Kane and Kooks front man Luke Pritchard), we wonder if Suki is headed for a career in music, just like her mate Cara. 'I write music and poetry in my spare time and also play the odd gig here and there,' she tells us. 'When the time is right it is definitely something I may consider pursuing more seriously.'
Ooh, you heard it here first, people.
