British Fashion Awards 2012: J. W. Anderson Wins Emerging Talent Award For Ready-To-Wear

J.W. Anderson has just received the Emerging Talent Award for Ready-To-Wear at the British Fashion Awards. Pixie Geldof, one of the designer's many admirers, presented him with the gong at this evening's ceremony in London's Savoy Hotel. Anderson has amassed a very loyal following of fashionistas which include Pixie, Alexa Chung and Delilah.

Although tonight he's been honoured for his Ready-To-Wear collections, the London Fashion Week star has become more of a household name in 2012 thanks to his uber successful high street/designer collaboration with Topshop. The resulting selection of must-have pieces which ranged from quilted paisley skirts to varsity jackets was snapped up by every style icon worth her Mulberry ‘Alexa’, including Chung herself who stepped out in his bat jumper. Twice!

Let's take a look at J.W. Anderson's 2012 fashion highlights:

1. He showed minimalism, modern frills and matchy matchy prints for Spring/ Summer 2013

2. He collaborated with Topshop and we bought EVERYTHING

3. EVERYBODY wore his Topshop collaboration!

4. He confessed to Grazia that his guilty pleasure is Antiques Roadshow
