In the current economic climate, some people might find that payrises are few and far between. But how about seeing your earnings triple in just one year? Yep, step forward Kate Moss who yet again has proved that she's one lucrative lady. From teen model to fashion designer, Kate is one of several models proving with her longevity that she's not just a pretty face.
According to The Telegraph, two of Kate's companies published their accounts this week boasting huge profits and taking her total assets, as of the end of October 2012, to £11.72 million. Nice work if you can get it, eh?
As well as her Topshop collaboration and contract as the face of Rimmel for over a decade, in recent times Kate has been seen walking at the Olympics Closing Ceremony, released The Kate Moss Book and showed off her enviable figure - naked - in a campaign for St Tropez. She's also inadvertently bagged a 'role' in Richard Curtis' latest movie About Time and has most recently collaborated with the Carphone Warehouse on a range of accessories.
As much as we love looking at Kate, she's not the only model to turn her runway success into a more stable career. Elle Macpherson has her own line of lingerie and Helena Christensen is enjoying a successful career as a photographer.
Kate's imitable style even when she's off-duty is a large part of her appeal as women the world over try to recreate her look. And now that she's proved that model's don't have such a short lifespan in their careers, here's hoping we'll be seeing the likes of her and new faces like Cara Delevingne and Jourdan Dunn for many more years to come...
