Little Britain's David Walliams Announced As British Fashion Awards Host

We Brits sure are a fashionable bunch! So excitement galore in the run up to the British Fashion Awards, which celebrates the breadth and depth of talent in the British fashion industry, from the emerging stars to the designer brands, models and style icons. Basically, it's the Oscars of Fash Land. A few weeks back we revealed who the nominees for this year's awards are (no prizes for guessing who's nominated for model of the year - Miss Delevingne, obvs!) and now it's been announced that Little Britain comedian aka Mr Lara Stone and London Collections: Men committee member David Walliams will be hosting the star studded affair.

'I'm thrilled to have been asked to present this year's British Fashion Awards,' said David. 'It's a wonderful way to recognise some of Britain's best talent and a night not to be missed!' Oh, David, we're thrilled too. We do love a man who can make us laugh, and he's got some serioush fash kudos - his wife is a supermodel, after all. Walliams follows in the footsteps of Gemma Arterton and Nick Grimshaw, who hosted last year's awards.

This year 300 members of the fashion industry voted for the winners who will be announced at the award ceremony, which takes place at the London Coliseum on Monday 2nd December. As in past years, it will be attended by the who's who in style - industry leaders, designers, models - all there to celebrate the best in Brit fash and Grazia Daily will be reporting live from the red carpet. We can hardly wait.
