BRIT Awards 2014: See The Best (And Worst) Dresses On The Red Carpet

19 February 2014 by

Wow what a week we are having! This week London has hosted fashion royalty as the fash pack descended on London for fashion week and Hollywood royalty (Leo DiCaprio, Brangelina AND Bradley Cooper) hit the BAFTAs. Now it's the music industry's turn, as tonight was the 2014 Brit Awards. As ever we were on the frontline, reporting on the red carpet frocks LIVE.

In summary, the 2014 Brit Awards had more sequins than a finale of Strictly Come Dancing. There were some, err, interesting looks. Jessie J's lilac lipstick is certainly an acquired taste and Tweeps were divided on Ellie Goulding's Vivienne Westwood's princess dress (with pockets). But the general rule was the more sequins the better. You can't over do it at the Brits.

The queen - Beyonce - showed us how you really do sequins in a blue floor-sweeping sleeved gown. Lily Allen and Lorde also opted for sleeves sequins. Lily Allen had two sequined looks, as she changed out of her black and blue Vintage Norrell gown into a House of Holland cross sequin number fresh off the runway.

When we say fresh we mean fresh, as Lily is the first person to wear a piece from the AW14 collection which showed on Saturday. Lils was sat on the FROW so she must have been window shopping for her Brits look. Speaking of AW14, Daisy Lowe also picked her Brits look from the front row as she wore a Sibling black dress which showed during London Fashion Week.
