Back in July we revealed that presenter Angela Scanlon had been called upon by Louis Vuitton to celebrate the new version of the Epi Neverfull leather bag with a photoshoot in some of her top London spots. Now one of our favourite fashion bloggers - Ella Catliff of La Petite Anglaise - has been given free reign of LV's Cruise Icons 2013 collection to style and showcase in leafy locations across the capital. Ella is a huge Vuitton fan and has previously worked with the brand on a photoshoot to mark the launch of their Selfridges shoe boutique. We love the results of her second Louis Vuitton session, find out how and why it came about - as well as her style tips in our exclusive Q&A...
Grazia Daily: How did the collaboration come about?
Ella Catliff: I've been a total Louis Vuitton obsessive for as long as I can remember and have been lucky enough to get to know their lovely team here in London through blogging. During the summer they approached me to do a shoot for the launch of their Selfridges shoe boutique, which was fantastic and with the Townhouse opening this week, they asked if I fancied doing another one with the beautiful Cruise Icons 2013 collection that will be stocked there. I didn't need to be asked twice!
Grazia Daily: What was your favourite piece you styled?
Ella Catliff: I adored them all, but my absolute favourite has to be the striped leather dress. It's so unbelievably soft, luxurious and just perfectly made so it felt amazing to wear.
Grazia Daily: Where did you shoot the photos?
Ella Catliff: We decided to shoot the photos in some of the spots I love near my home in West London; Brook Green, Holland Park, the kind of gorgeous leafy places I dream of strolling around wearing Louis Vuitton!
Grazia Daily: What are your top styling tips?
Ella Catliff: My top styling tip would be firstly to make sure you feel good in what you're wearing, not even the most stunning piece can compensate for that. Also have fun with it! That's kind of the point of fashion, right?
