See Even MORE Red Carpet Golden Globes Dresses, As Stars Quick-Change For VIP After Parties

13 January 2014 by

The Golden Globes frock-athon doesn't stop after the best picture is announced, as the stars then move on to the glamorous VIP after parties. We imagine it's not exactly easy to dance in frothy couture, so they often slip into something with a little more room for twerking. Why wear one dress when you can wear two, eh?

At the Golden Globes after parties this year Taylor Swift swapped her Carolina Herrera show-stopper, for a very sexy black crochet dress by Julien MacDonald with strappy black Jimmy Choos. After having a heart to heart with Bono (as you do), she then danced with Hailee Steinfeld and Jamie King. Emma Watson also did a quick change, as she went from her Dior trouser and dress combo to a black embellished Theory dress with Christian Louboutins.

Miranda Kerr partied with Orlando Bloom at the Warner Bros party in a look-at-me Emilio Pucci body-skimmer. The gown featured a thigh high slit which lead up to an open back, held together with nothing but gold threading. You know the saying, if you've got it...

Speaking of flaunting it, Vanessa Hudgens's plunging neckline rivaled Amy Adams' chesty Valentino number, as she wowed in a sequin champagne-coloured Giorgio Armani dress with a halter neckline and open back.

Diane Kruger opted for a black satin Antonio Berardi gown with silver embroidery, while Lady Gaga went full on Donatella in a shimmery gold strapless gown with a thigh-high slit. Maybe the look she was going for was a Golden Globes statue? Alexa Chung and Pixie Geldof made the journery to Hollywood for the festivities, with Pixie wearing pale blue lace Dolce & Gabbana and Alexa in champagne satin calf-grazing frock with a granny Dolce purse.
