Last night saw the launch of the Fashion Rules exhibition at Kensington Palace, which features a collection of dresses worn by Diana, Princess of Wales, HRH Queen Elizabeth II and Princess Margaret. There were as many fabulous frocks on display on the red carpet as there were inside the exhibition. The fash pack, including Henry Holland, Pixie Geldof and Edie Campbell, all took to the grounds of the palace to sip bubbly from rather grand flutes and take a look at the exhibition, sponsored by Estee Lauder Companies.
Pixie Geldof arrived with Mr Henry Holland as her date and supported her BFF by wearing House of Holland. She wore a leather skirt with sparkly stars appliquéd onto it from the Resort 2014 collection, which she paired with a printed button up blouse. She topped off the look with silver Mary Janes, a leopard print Dolce bag and a dark berry lip. Pixie joked that she wouldn't be able to smile all evening because of her purple lips 'that make me look like a clown.'
Costumes on display at the Fashion Rules Exhibition
Actress Hayley Atwell wore a Roksanda Ilincic black dress with a cobalt collar, white billowing sleeves with orange cuffs, which she paired with a STARK black and gold mini clutch. The disciple of fashion joked that the outfit made her look 'like a nun.' Naomie Harris wore a black chiffon Marios Schwab dress with a dramatic leather corset belt, which she paired with Jimmy Choo black lace heels.
Minnie Driver wore a sorbet-coloured sequin embroidered, organza gown by Missoni and Tali Lennox hit Kensington Palace in a wide leg emerald jumpsuit with a statement black hat.
