Fall campaigns are now flooding in, as Kate Moss for Versace, Cara Delevingne for Mulberry and Christy Turlington and Freja Beha for Prada have all landed in our inbox. To refresh your campaign knowledge, we have rounded up the major ads so far from Donna Karan to Dolce.
It's Cara vs Kate for the title of the most ad campaigns this season. First Cara sprawled by the sea in fishnets and a bow tie in a stormy campaign for Saint Laurent - it's all very 'I'm with the band and haven't slept for a week.' Cara D then perched in a tree with owls with an emerald Alexa bag for Mulberry, poses in Time Square for DKNY and takes to the rooftops of Rome for FENDI. While Kate Moss posed naked, with her modesty covered with oversized leather tote bags, for Versace and then showed off her assets again wearing a yeti coat, thigh highs and not much else for Stuart Weitzman.
In other big campaign news this season, Givenchy bagged Hollywood starlet Amanda Seyfried and Carine and Julia Roitfeld for their Mert & Mercus ads, while Jennifer Garner appears as the first ever celeb in Max Mara's autumn/winter campaign. Alexander Wang chose a headless Kristen McMenamy for his campaigns. Speaking of the McMenamy, her daughter Lily has bagged a moody Marc Jacobs campaign with Edie Campbell shot by Juergen Teller.
Dolce & Gabbana is all about red lace and operatic facial expressions, starring models Bianca Balti, Monica Bellucci, Kate King and newbie Andreea Diaconu. Plus that crown Katy Perry wore to the Met Ball makes a cameo. Valentino have the most surprising campaign star so far, with Terry Richardson's tattooed arm modelling their pink stilettos.
Rag & Bone team up with Hollywood's fast risers Lea Seydoux and Michael Pitt for a do-it-yourself type shoot, in which the duo were left to their own devices in an effort to give off a "raw" feel. It worked. Meanwhile, Georgia May Jagger returns as the face of Hudson Jeans for a second season.
