Iconic French sportswear brand, Lacoste, is 80 years old – hurrah! Eighty years ago, Frenchman René Lacoste invented the polo shirt. It’s long since been completely iconic, with its cute little crocodile logo.

This year the brand are even experimenting with a high fashion range, Unexpected, which includes black leather polos and skater dresses. Mmm mmmm. Check out this issue of Grazia to read the full interview with creative director, Felipe Oliveira Baptista.

Lacoste hosted two days of sports activities at Babington House to kick off the pre-celebrations for the 80th anniversary. Along went Nina Nesbitt, the  Scottish singer-songwriter and singer Paloma Ayana Stoecker, otherwise known as Delilah, looking grand in Lacoste.

Here you can see Nina and Delilah had fun playing tennis and modelling Lacoste 80th anniversary dresses and summer looks, tea on the lawn? Anyone for tennis?  Ah, summer is here.
