Anna Nicole Smith's 6-Year-Old Daughter Follows Mum's Lead As A Guess Model

GUESS have chosen an unlikely model for their new campaign... Anna Nicole Smith's 6-year-old daughter. GUESS put Anna Nicole Smith on the fashion radar back in 1993 when they chose her to replace Claudia Schiffer, and now they're propelling Dannielynn into the fashion world, as she is the face of the spring 2013 Guess Kids campaign.

The little poppet masters the GUESS casual chic look modelling a denim miniskirt, a trilby and a white denim waistcoat on a sandy beach. She's ah-mazing at posing for a six year old, as she has nailed the pensive gaze whilst leaning against a tree. Someone has clearly inhereted her mamas modelling genes.

Of course Dannielynn is best known for that messy paternity battle between Larry Birkhead and Howard K. Stern following Smith's overdose when Dannielynn was just a few months old. But it seems she will step out of her famous mum's shadow and make a big name for herself as a fashion model. How many six-year-olds have their own sparkling ad campaign?

Her father Larry Birkhead said on Good Morning America: “Dannielynn has always looked up to her mom’s image and … I think that this is kind of Dannielynn’s way of paying tribute to her mom in her own special way.” He added: “To see her mom’s picture next to hers as a Guess girl and say, ‘Hey, I was a Guess Kids girl, my mommy was a Guess girl,’ that might be her only connection with her mom."

Paul Marciano, Creative Director for GUESS, said “Dannielynn has the same playful spirit that her mother had on a set. She is a second-generation GUESS girl, which makes this campaign a first for us.”

Dannielynn isn't the only bright young thing to follow in their model mother's footsteps, as Lily McMenamy (daughter of supermodel Kristen) was a hit at Paris Fashion Week and Cindy Crawford's 10-year-old daughter Kaia landed her first ad campaign as the face of Young Versace.
