Anna Dello Russo, Anja Rubik & Alice Dellal Are All Wearing Anthony Vaccarello's Super-Sexy Dresses

Anthony Vaccarello’s ultra-sexy wares are proving to be the front row choice-du-jour for the more daring fashion eds this season. Bring after-dark party-centric pieces out of the cocktail bar and into the FROW scrum, his clothes are for the style brave, and the very confident of bod. You may remember one particular look that cemented Brussels-born, Paris-based Anthony as the king of the big reveal: Anja Rubik at the Met Gala 2012, when her risqué thigh split travelled all the way up to her hipbone. Her more recent punk moment at this year’s ball in New York also relied upon Anthony’s skills; with a vampy red leather dress chainmailed to here and slashed to there. The model once again played a major part in the fashion proceedings at Vaccarello’s show yesterday: opening in micro shorts and a silver studded coat and closing hand in hand with the designer himself.

With more than a dash of ferocious femininity, it’s no surprise that according to the rumour-mill, Anthony is apparently in talks with Donatella Versace for the next instalment of Versus’ now rotating guest designer roster. First was J W Anderson, then came a collaboration with anorak label K-Way. Mr Vaccarello would certainly square up to the brand’s hot-under-the-collar heritage.

Alice Dellal, Gisele, Kylie and Liberty Ross join Dello Russo in her Vaccarello love-in. As do Charlotte Gainsbourg and Jennifer Lopez – a more varied bunch you couldn’t find. Proving that while Vaccarello’s heady good-time-girls are of a certain ilk, the allure of his clothing has a wide fan base.
