Things are starting to feel very festive here at Grazia's London HQ, not least because we paid a visit to the Stella McCartney store on Bruton Street last night for the annual switching on of the Christmas lights. Comedians Vic Reeves and Paul Whitehouse did the honours and entertained the crowd, including Stella herself, Nick Grimshaw and Louise and Jamie Redknapp with a song before pressing the big red button. We can't think of a better way of embracing Christmas cheer in style!
Burberry is also doing its best to inspire the UK Capital with its festive van covered in gifts which can be seen circulating through central London. You can follow the vintage automobile's journey as you complete your Christmas shopping, or stick your feet up, shop online and check out Burberry on Instagram.
We've previously reported on this year's Harrods Christmas windows which feature 10 iconic Disney Princesses in gowns created by some of the fashion world's leading designers. The windows are bringing a bit of Disney magic to the grey streets of London this winter, as are the windows at iconic department stores Harvey Nichols, Liberty, Fortnum & Mason and Selfridges. Speaking of Selfridges, if you're struggling to find that perfect pressie then don't forget to call on the services of the shop's own Elfridges.
Finally, if you really want to feel the warm glow of yuletide celebration then head to the home of the British Fashion Council, Somerset House and book a session at Skate. If you're lucky you might just spy the #SkatePenguin - remember to hashtag and post a picture to twitter if you do... Merry Tweetmas everybody!
