It is safe to say that Naomie Harris is having one seriously stylish moment in the spotlight. Of course, like with most Hollywood actresses, having a new film to promote gives one a chance to pull out all the style stops. For Naomie that film is, Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom where she takes on the role of Winnie Mandela, wife to Nelson who will be played by Luther, opps, I mean Idris Elba.
Her turn as Winnie is rumoured to be gaining Oscar momentum in the run up to the award season, and of course a award winning wardrobe will be needed and that is something Naomie is delivering in abundance already. Naomie made a strong start to the promotional trail for Nelson: Long Walk To Freedom which kicked off at its premiere at the Toronto Film Festival in September. There Naomie was seen in striped Burberry for the press conference and photocall before slipping into a black tulle Marchesa gown which oozed Hollywood sophistication.

Naomie has been stirring up a style storm ever since, whether it be on the red carpet or on the red carpet of the Cannes Film Festival. She even found time to hop off the promotional trail to make an appearance at New York Fashion Week to FROW at Calvin Klein. Sat alongside Rooney Mara and Nicole Kidman, Naomie wore a white crop top combo before slipping into a full skirted, grey, crop top ensemble for the after party, both looks with their clean lines and right amount of sex appeal made her into every inch the modern Hollywood star.
This will not be the first time many of you have come across this fashionable female actress from our own fair land. Stand out roles in 28 Days Later, as Calypso in Pirates of the Caribbean and as a Bond girl in Skyfall have seen Naomie stylishly swaggering down many a red carpet.

Whilst promoting Skyfall with arguably the greatest accessory of all, Daniel Craig, Naomie was every inch the Bond call in every country: wearing a Marios Schwab floor length sheer dress with sequin bodice at the Royal premiere of the film before donning blue floor length lace from Dolce and Gabbana and even a casual bit of white tweed Chanel along the way. The looks always completed with the glossiest of manes and directional accessories.
Yet whilst the Bond tour looks were somewhat more directional and sexy, Naomie has lost none of the edge in her now altogether more lady like wardrobe. This is one style star with an eye for making serious red carpet statements. Sit up, take note, Naomie Harris has fully arrived!
